Privacy Policy
We only need a few details to get a desk to your door. This page explains what they are, why we need them, how long we keep them and what you can ask us to do with them.

Who we are
FlexiSpot Kenya sells FlexiSpot standing desks and accessories in Kenya. FlexiSpot is a brand of Loctek, and we are its authorised distributor here. We are based in Nairobi.
We decide how the details you give us are used, which makes us the data controller for them under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.
What we handle
This website has no checkout, accounts or forms. If you accept cookies, Google Analytics and/or Google Ads tell us how the site and our ads are used, without your name or number (see Cookies, analytics and ads). Everything else happens in a WhatsApp chat (or an email, if you prefer). When you talk to us about an order, we handle:
- your name and phone number, as WhatsApp shows them to us;
- the messages, photos and voice notes you send us in the chat;
- your delivery address and any directions for the driver;
- what you ordered, and a record of your payment.
We never ask for card details, passwords or ID numbers. Please don't send them.
Why, and on what basis
The Data Protection Act lets us use personal data only for a clear purpose and on a lawful basis. Ours are:
- Answering your questions and agreeing an order. You ask us to do this before you buy.
- Delivering the order and taking payment. This is needed to carry out our agreement with you.
- After-sales help, such as a warranty question or a missing part. This is part of the same agreement, and in our legitimate interest in looking after customers.
- Invoices and tax records, including eTIMS invoices. Kenyan tax law requires these.
- Counting visits and WhatsApp enquiries, and measuring our ads, with Google Analytics and/or Google Ads. Only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
We don't send marketing messages unless you ask for them, and you can ask us to stop at any time. We never sell your details.
How long we keep it
We keep your details only as long as we need them to complete your order, deliver it and help you afterwards. Records that the law makes us keep, such as invoices and tax records, are kept for as long as Kenyan law requires. After that, we delete them or strip out anything that identifies you.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2019, you can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you;
- correct anything that's wrong or out of date;
- delete your data, unless the law requires us to keep it;
- stop using your data for a purpose you object to.
To use any of these rights, message us on WhatsApp or email us (details below). We may ask you to confirm that it's you before we act. If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
This website
- No analytics or advertising cookies unless you accept them (see Cookies, analytics and ads). We use no other advertising pixels.
- Fonts and images are served from this site. Until you accept cookies, browsing it sends no requests to other companies.
- Like any web host, the service that delivers these pages (Cloudflare) handles technical data such as your IP address to serve the site and protect it from attacks.
- Product videos come from YouTube but only load when you press play. They use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Once a video loads, YouTube's own privacy terms apply.
- "Order on WhatsApp" links open WhatsApp, where Meta's terms apply. The message they start ends with a short tag such as "[web:e7-pro]" or "[web]", so we know which page you wrote from. It names the product, never you, and you can delete it before sending.
